HOW TO GET THERE

  1. 1From downtown Winters, get on US 83, then take TX 153 heading east.
  2. 2Stay on 153 about 6 miles — you’ll see the lake on your right.
  3. 3Turn onto County Road 167 and follow it to the Elm Creek Reservoir Park entrance.
  4. 4Drive in past the campers and park anywhere in the open field.
  5. 5Walk down to the bank — we’re set up between the crappie dock and the cabin. Look for the balloons.
